When I was around 18 or 19 the style was ripped jeans and ripped shirts. The more holes the better. I had the coolest(or at least what I thought was the coolest) pair of jeans. They were an old pair of levi's and they had gotten a hole in the knee so I preceeded to tear that hole a little more, add some lace stitching up one side and leather stitching up the other(leather and lace...how 90's).
